The Situation
Government reporting was fragmented, but leadership needed real-time visibility across the entire organisation.
Malaysia Productivity Corporation, MPC’s Delivery Management Unit needed to support Ketua Pengarah-level monitoring across budget gain, budget allocation, budget utilisation, programme progress, KPI performance, team movement, and compliance.
Before the system was built, reporting depended on fragmented data, manual updates, and separate tracking sources. This made it difficult for leadership to see performance clearly, respond quickly, and monitor delivery across the organisation in real time.
The challenge was to turn scattered reporting into a connected digital monitoring infrastructure that could support faster decisions, stronger accountability, and organisation-wide visibility.
MPC DMU needed to turn fragmented reporting into a real-time monitoring system trusted enough for daily leadership decisions.
Fragmented Reporting Sources
Budget, programme, KPI, team movement, and compliance data were tracked separately, making organisation-wide visibility difficult.
Slow Leadership Visibility
The Ketua Pengarah needed real-time performance updates, but manual reporting slowed down monitoring and decision-making.
Hard to Monitor Delivery
Without a connected system, it was difficult to track progress, utilisation, and delivery status across multiple workstreams.
Limited Accountability Signals
Leadership needed clearer live indicators to identify delays, gaps, movements, and compliance issues before they affected delivery.
