Project Management Officer (PMO)

About This Roles:
As a PMO, you will be responsible for supporting project planning, tracking, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal processes and client requirements. You will work closely with project managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure that deliverables meet agreed timelines and standards.
This is a 24-month contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on performance and project pipeline. It suits someone with 2–3 years of experience in project management or coordination who wants to grow into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Track project progress, risks, and issues, and prepare regular status reports for management and clients.
- Ensure project governance, compliance, and documentation standards are followed.
- Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and vendor coordination where applicable.
- Facilitate meetings, stand-ups, and reviews, ensuring clear follow-ups and accountability.
- Maintain centralized records of project documentation, including contracts, approvals, and change requests.
- Assist in quality assurance activities and ensure deliverables align with client requirements.
- Act as a communication bridge between stakeholders, project managers, and team members.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Project Management, IT, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in project management, coordination, or PMO functions.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Ability to analyze project data and prepare status and progress reports.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with government tender compliance processes (advantageous).
- Experience in budget monitoring and resource planning.
- Awareness of digital solution or IT project environments.
