About This Roles:
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing both the front-end and back-end of our web applications. You will work closely with the design, product, and project teams to deliver applications that are user-friendly, fast, and secure.
This is a 24 month contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on performance and project pipeline. It suits someone with 2–3 years of experience who wants to grow into a bigger role as our projects expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the LNMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP).
- Implement both front-end features (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React) and back-end logic (Laravel/Symfony/CodeIgniter).
- Configure and optimize servers, databases, and applications for performance and security.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and support deployment activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver features on time.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while applying quality assurance practices.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure features meet functional, security, and performance requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation for code, APIs, deployment, and technical workflows.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in full stack or web development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ with hands-on experience in Laravel framework (routing, Eloquent ORM, queues, events, middleware).
- Solid knowledge of Vue.js 3 with Pinia for state management and modular frontend development.
- Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations.
- Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 for building responsive and interactive UIs.
- Experience configuring and deploying applications on Linux + Nginx environments.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration between frontend and backend.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of basic testing practices (unit testing, integration testing) within Laravel and Vue.js.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis/Memcached for caching and performance tuning.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, CSRF, XSS prevention, Laravel Sanctum/Passport, JWT).
- Experience in API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum practices (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean) for scaling deployments.
- Basic UI/UX design awareness for improving user experience.

We offer a competitive salary, RM3000 - RM3,500 aligned with market benchmarks for full stack developers with 2–3 years’ experience.
