Front End Developer

About This Roles:
As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the client-facing side of our applications. You’ll work closely with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless experiences that are fast, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.
This is a Up to 24 month contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on performance and project pipeline. It suits someone with 2–3 years of experience who wants to sharpen their front-end expertise while contributing to meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver responsive, user-friendly, and mobile-first interfaces that provide a seamless user experience.
- Translate business and design requirements into functional, engaging, and accessible web applications.
- Ensure consistency in layout, branding, and interaction across different devices and browsers.
- Integrate frontend features with backend services and manage data flow effectively.
- Apply structured state management practices to ensure smooth and reliable application behavior.
- Optimize user interfaces for speed, performance, and accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to meet project goals.
- Maintain clear documentation of components, workflows, and user interactions to support ongoing development.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in Vue.js 3 with Pinia (Plus Point) for state management.
- Strong experience with TypeScript for scalable development.
- Expertise in responsive design using TailwindCSS and Bootstrap.
- Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Ability to integrate and consume RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus).
- Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Basic knowledge of testing frameworks for frontend validation (Jest, Vue Test Utils).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
- Experience translating mockups from Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD into functional applications.
- Knowledge of performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, Webpack, Vite).
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Awareness of frontend security best practices (XSS prevention, CSRF handling).
- Exposure to progressive web apps (PWAs) or hybrid mobile frameworks.
