Freelance Photographer / Videographer (Long-Term)

About This Roles:
We’re looking for a Long-Term Freelance Photographer/Videographer to support Kawan Elite on an ongoing, project-based basis. You’ll work with our team to capture high-quality visuals for marketing shoots, product shoots, events, and podcast/video content, plus light-to-full editing depending on the project. This is ideal for someone who’s reliable, fast, collaborative, and comfortable executing from a clear brief while bringing creative input when needed.
You’ll deliver both final outputs and complete source files for each project so our team can archive, reuse, or extend the content later.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled shoots (on-site / studio / outdoor) for marketing, product, event, and podcast content
- Capture photos and videos that match the brand brief, shot list, and campaign objectives
- Set up basic lighting/audio when needed (especially for podcast/interview-style shoots)
- Direct simple scenes (talent positioning, framing, flow) to achieve clean, usable footage
- Handle post-production when required: photo retouching, color correction, video editing, basic sound cleanup, and subtitles
- Deliver assets in agreed formats (web/social-ready + original/raw files when requested) within timeline
- Organize and label files properly; upload to our shared Drive/portal with clean folder structure
- Collaborate with our internal team (PM/design/marketing) for revisions and final approvals
- Maintain professionalism on-site (punctuality, communication, respectful conduct with clients/talent)
- Take care of equipment readiness and ensure backup planning for critical shoots (batteries/storage)
- Deliver final exports + all source files for every project (e.g., RAW photos, original video files, project files such as Premiere/Final Cut/DaVinci, AE motion files, and any LUTs/presets used if applicable)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in photography + videography for marketing / brand / product content
- Comfortable handling different shoot types: product shoots, events, interviews/podcast setups, short-form social content
- Able to edit when needed (at least basic-to-intermediate): color correction, audio cleanup, captions, simple motion graphics
- Must be able to deliver final outputs + all source files (RAW photos, original footage, and project files such as Premiere/DaVinci/FCP/AE)
- Own or have access to reliable equipment (camera/phone rig is fine) and can manage basic lighting/audio when required
- Strong understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and storytelling for marketing outcomes
- Reliable, punctual, and professional on-site with clients/talent
- Able to follow a brief + shot list, and also contribute creative suggestions when needed
- Good file discipline: proper naming, folder structure, and uploading to Drive/portal on time
- Able to work on a project basis with clear timelines; responsive communication on WhatsApp/Email
- Portfolio required (link to works: photo + video + edited samples)
