Associate Product Manager (BA + Tester)

About This Roles:
As a Product Manager (BA + Tester), you will act as the link between stakeholders, developers, and designers. You’ll gather requirements, translate them into actionable tasks, and ensure that features are delivered according to expectations. On top of that, you will handle testing to maintain the quality and reliability of our applications.
This is a 24 month contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on performance and project pipeline. It suits someone with 2–4 years of experience who has a mix of business analysis, project coordination, and testing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Manager in defining product goals, priorities, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and business requirements to inform product decisions.
- Assist in writing clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with design, development, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of features.
- Monitor product performance and prepare reports on key metrics, issues, and improvements.
- Participate in testing and validation to ensure features meet requirements before release.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Maintain proper documentation of product decisions, workflows, and release notes for knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in product management, business analysis, or software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Familiarity with quality assurance practices and software testing concepts.
- Proficiency in collaboration and documentation tools (Jira, Trello, Confluence, Notion).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to UI/UX design principles to understand user journeys.
- Familiarity with APIs, web technologies, or mobile apps to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or basic analytics platforms).
- Experience with product analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar).
- Basic understanding of wireframing or prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq).
- Experience in startups or cross-functional teams.
