About This Roles:
We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who cares about results, not just delivery.
In this role, you’ll design and develop WordPress websites and systems using our in-house stack (GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks, custom CPTs, forms, APIs, and server environments). Your work will directly impact conversions, operational efficiency, and productivity across our client projects and internal platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Core Development
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress sites using GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks
- Build and manage custom post types (CPTs), custom fields, and structured content
- Implement and customise forms, workflows, and integrations
- Work with APIs and webhooks to connect WordPress with external systems
- Ensure builds are clean, scalable, performant, and maintainable
System Lifecycle & Improvement
- Participate in the full lifecycle of WordPress systems: plan → build → launch → improve → maintain
- Build systems with long-term maintenance and support efficiency in mind
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve existing implementations
- Assist with handover notes, basic documentation, and technical guidance where required
- Collaborate with the team to improve conversion, usability, and system efficiency
Tools & Ways of Working
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) for development, debugging, optimisation, and learning
- Follow internal standards, naming conventions, and development practices
- Continuously improve build quality, reusability, and workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of wordpress experience is required
- Experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, CPTs, forms)
- Comfortable with PHP, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with GeneratePress / GenerateBlocks, or strong willingness to learn
- Familiar with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Mandatory: Actively uses AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) as part of daily development work
- Strong problem-solving mindset and results-oriented attitude
- Able to think beyond tasks and understand why something is built
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
- Experience with server environments, performance optimisation, or security is a plus
