Challenges
As Malaysia continues accelerating its digital transformation agenda, the Akademi Dalam Industri (ADI) — a strategic initiative under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) — faced a crucial challenge: how to manage nationwide certification and upskilling efficiently while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and scale.
Traditional certification workflows relied heavily on manual verification, paper-based records, and time-consuming coordination between multiple government agencies. With thousands of trainees and organizations participating across different states, this process became increasingly complex and prone to delays.
To fulfill its mission of empowering Malaysia’s workforce and enabling faster talent certification, ADI needed a fully automated, secure, and integrated digital platform — one capable of issuing, tracking, and validating certifications in real time across multiple systems.
Solutions
To help ADI streamline and scale its certification processes nationwide, KawanElite developed a fully automated digital platform that redefined how government training certifications are issued, tracked, and verified.
1. Automating Certification from End to End
We built an intelligent certification engine that digitized every stage — from trainee enrollment to course completion and certificate issuance. (Development of an automated certification workflow.)
2. Connecting Systems for Seamless Operations
Through multiple API integrations, the portal linked with government and training databases, allowing real-time validation of personnel, course data, and certification status. (Integration of six core APIs and system connectors.)
3. Ensuring Reliability at Scale
The system was engineered to handle high concurrency — supporting over 1,000 simultaneous users and more than 100,000 yearly visitors while maintaining security and uptime consistency. (Enterprise-grade infrastructure deployment.)
4. Simplifying User Access and Verification
A user-first design made it easy for trainees, administrators, and agencies to manage certifications through one central interface — improving accessibility and reducing manual workloads. (Centralized government eLearning portal with responsive UI/UX.)
These innovations enabled ADI to automate over 1,000 certifications across Malaysia with complete transparency and efficiency — strengthening public trust and accelerating the nation’s digital talent development goals.
Kawan elite is a well organized, responsive team. Their sophisticated learning management syatems and portal administration training are the best in the field
